Johnson Building offers single source Project delivery from concept to completion with the Design Build Method. The Design
Build Proposals usually evolve from an owner's very preliminary ideas
and sketches as well as budget constraints. Johnson Building will provide
complete design and construction under a single contract.
Preliminary Planning Analysis of the clients needs in relation to many restraint factors is the first and most important step of any construction process. Restraint factors that need to be considered are such as follows; site limitations, budget allowance, space requirements, function of space requirements, appearance, expandability, availability of utilities, zoning by-laws etc. Project Budget Once a preliminary plan has been developed, the economic feasibility must be determined by the production of a preliminary Budget Cost Estimate. Our experience and up to date library of unit material and labour costs assists us with estimating a Budget Cost for your Project. Modifications can be made to the plan to keep the Project within the Budget limitations. Proposal Presentation of a final Proposal outlining the building design, details and costing is made. Contract A Design Build Stipulated Price Contract endorsed by the Canadian Construction Association is executed. Construction Once permits
and approvals are obtained, construction is scheduled and commenced. Johnson
Building Construction hold regular site meetings to update the client
of the construction progress. |
